Hey everyone, hope you're doing well!
Just wanted to update the ol' journal thing here.
So new year, that's cool. 2014 feels like it's gonna be a good one, and honestly
life only seems to get better the more time passes which is great.
I feel like I grew a lot last year, got a little more social, lost a little weight,
started walking more, gained some confidence. Another interesting thing
that happened is that I moved in with my sister and her boyfriend so that
I could remain close to school whilst dad moved away for legal/work reasons.
Art has also happened over the year, I feel like i'm growing there as well.
I don't feel like I produced enough art this past year but I doubt i'll ever feel like
that so I don't know how hard I should take it. Anyway, I feel like i've come a bit
further in deciding what direction I want my art to go in, but I still have no idea.
I've had a comic/project planned for about 5 months ago and I have a few concepts/etc
done for it so I want to try and put those into motion, decide on a style, finalize characters
and such and hopefully start working on it, really hope people will be into it but even more
I hope i'm into it, comics/manga has always been a big part of my life and I hope i'll
enjoy making them as much as I think I will.
I got some oils for christmas, water-soluble non toxic cheap ones so that I can fuck up
and not feel too bad about it. And they behave exactly the way I thought they would
, they're so much easier to use than acrylics and the edges are just so great. So far
i've only done some studies and random sketches so hopefully i'll be able to post some here
soon, some more finished stuff etc.
But up until then I've been posting on my instagram account and tumblr. So if you want
to see more sketches/unfinished stuff from me i'd love it if you followed me. instagram.com/ludicneedsludicneeds.tumblr.com/
Thanks if you read this entire thing, haha! I'd love to hear what your plans are for the new year!
Also thanks to everyone who fav's / views / likes my art, it means so much to me that
someone might get something out of it.
